I started by using the free version of headspace, which contains basic guided meditation ranging from 3-10 minutes. This series of 10 sessions can be helpful to those with limited experience practicing meditation. The seven day trial of the full app unlocks a wide variety from mini sessions to courses specific to a certain theme. It was interesting to test the mindfulness practices for daily events such as workouts, which was a first for me. The little cartoons and the clean style of the app also make it really nice to use and intuitive. I really appreciated the extensive variety of meditation sessions on offer, many of which can be done on the go (very helpful in a clinical setting!). If you like to diversify your meditation practice, this app is for you! – Salima
